As part of my college education, I completed a three week internship with Canadian Mennonite University. While there I worked on their 2014/2015 GO campaign. GO stands for Great Orientation, the name they dedicate to the first week of every semester. During this first week before classes there are any number of events all designed to encourage community within the student body. One of these events is the GO Olympics. The GO logo and GO Olympics logo were inspired by the Olympic rings, formed from a unifying triangle grid system. This campaign stretched to publication, and event t-shirts, and from here the typeface Jodie was born.Jodie is an extension of the GO logo Photography used and the CMU logo are property of Canadian Mennonite University.
